We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the contract for the new University Drive Student Residence at the University of Western Ontario in London!
We will be partnering with construction manager EllisDon, and architect Tillman Ruth Robinson, to provide unitized curtain wall, punched openings, operable windows, and ACM fins on the project.
When complete, the residence – located at the historic entrance to the Western University campus – will be home to 788 first-year students. The design aims to prioritize accessibility, compatibility, dignity, and transparency for every student who calls it home. The 304,000-square-foot, dormitory-style residence will provide not only much-needed bed space, but amenities including lounges, study rooms, music rooms, and fitness and dining facilities designed specifically to promote the physical and emotional well-being of students.
Throughout this project, we will aim to meet all of our goals related to timeliness, budget, safety, and quality, to ensure project success.
